Utilizing Two-stage Fusion Technology to Achieve Effective, Long-Term Protection
Corrosion potential surveys have long been an effective non-destructive method of quantifying corrosion risk and locating “hot spots” in concrete structures before repairs are required. High corrosion risk areas can be proactively targeted using embedded galvanic anodes to halt corrosion before the active corrosion causes concrete failure and a need for repair. This webinar will discuss this proactive approach in detail and introduce an innovative “two-phase” anode technology combining the benefits of both impressed current and galvanic protection in a single unit.

Designing with Distributed Galvanic Anodes for Galvanic Encasements and Marine Pile Jackets, Including Bulk Anode Selection
Over the past 25+ years, Vector Corrosion Technologies has learned a great deal about how galvanic anodes perform, age and protect steel in reinforced concrete over time. Distributed anode system are quickly and easily installed to provide corrosion protection for a variety of applications, such as installation in new concrete, embedded in concrete overlays, encapsulated inside reinforced concrete jackets or used in conjunction with stay-in-place forms and bulk anodes for column and pile protection. In this presentation, Shayan will be going beyond the datasheet to explain just how these factors govern the service life of zinc based cathodic protection systems.

Using Discrete Galvanic Anodes for Repair, Corrosion Control and New Construction
As the popularity of galvanic anodes for reinforced concrete increases, the design process continues to evolve and provides much more flexibility to design professionals than simply using the anode spacing tables in a product datasheet. This how-to webinar will summarise the latest advancements in predicting embedded anode's long-term performance and demonstrate how this information is utilized in providing efficient and reliable designs. This presentation is most beneficial for those currently specifying systems, those new to the industry or those with a general interest in galvanic technology for concrete.

Galvanic anodes in a brand-new structure? Thinking ahead about corrosion allows asset owners to be prepared for its eventuality while also removing the otherwise unavoidable repair cost and downtime. George Sergi, the father of the original embedded galvanic anode for concrete, has prepared a How-to presentation for identifying high-risk elements and utilizing maintenance-free galvanic protection to extend the service life of concrete structures without the need for repair. This presentation is most beneficial for those currently specifying systems, those new to the industry or with a general interest in galvanic technology.

Over the past 20+ years, Vector Corrosion Technologies has learned a great deal about how galvanic anodes perform, age and protect steel in reinforced concrete over time. Variables like surface to mass ratio of the zinc core, the zinc core activation method and the environmental exposure conditions including the level of chloride contamination, moisture and temperature. In this presentation, Dave will be going beyond the datasheet to explain just how these factors govern the service life of zinc based cathodic protection systems.
